An Old Katy Perry Video of Her Singing the 'Sims' Language Sparks a New Meme

Katy Perry  has been in the internet spotlight plenty of times. First, there was the avalanche of memes that happened after she performed at the  2015 Super Bowl  (never forget Left Shark). Not to mention the fact that every Met Gala she attends always sparks a handful of  wacky comparisons . That said, Katy's never one to shy away from  poking fun at herself , so we'd expect her appreciate a new meme currently making the rounds, which involves a video of her  singing vocal nonsense . Okay, so it's  not  exactly gibberish. It turns out that back in 2012, Katy sang her hit song "Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)" in Simlish, the language from  The Sims  computer games franchise . Katy sings, "yarbe tansel table doops, even tooka mimi shoops, hey pukepsie up for goops" which appears to be a rough translation of "Last Friday Night's" iconic chorus. She recorded the track for  The Sims 3 , but for many  the video  faded into obscurity. H

The Sims 4  family game pack, now  officially announced  as  Parenthood,  brings more generational gameplay. With toddlers back, the timing couldn’t be any more perfect. Kids will be more deviant than ever with  Parenthood  in play. The rebellious trait is back in action -- kids will bite, make a mess, say bad words and shove each other -- but there’s a new parenting skill that will affect how players address bad behavior. The parenting skill has far reaching benefits, which leads to a new set of what EA is calling “character values traits.” Teaching your kids good manners, like setting the table, or when it’s appropriate to burp and fart, will eventually give them new traits that will positively affect their lives forever. As far as features relating specifically to kids, children will bring home new projects t
